I did a column--IT SEEMS TO ME--for the Richmond AFRO-AMERICAN from 1967-71 and 1974-82. I did a column for the Richmond FREE PRESS from 1991-94 and 1997 to 2001. I teach for a liv- ing, I play a lot of bid whist and bridge.
